London-born Tim Garcia is a DJ, broadcaster, and label owner whose reputation is built on a genuine dedication to music. Tim’s journey has taken him from a five-year weekly residency on internationally renowned Jazz FM to residencies on Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM and Rinse FM, where he is now a weekly resident.

His expertise in music is further solidified through his label, Musica Macondo, which has released an eclectic range of music from Grammy-nominated musicians and top electronic producers worldwide, including names like Yelfris Valdes, Quantic, K15, and Osunlade. He’s applied his well-tuned ears to playlisting for the likes of music streaming platforms Jazzed and KEAKIE.

Tim’s label work complements his love for an expansive range of sounds. His passion has seen him perform at prestigious events and festivals across the globe, including Glastonbury, We Out Here, Love Supreme Festival, Meadows in the Mountains, Beneath the Baobabs and many more. In addition to his work as a DJ and label manager, Tim has a Masters in Ethnomusicology at SOAS University which has allowed him to deepen his understanding of music’s role in cultural and historical contexts.

Tina Edwards is a renowned DJ, broadcaster, curator, and journalist with a passion for spotlighting new music. She has premiered tracks and interviewed internationally-revered artists on platforms like Worldwide FM, BBC Radio 3, Soho Radio, and Bandcamp Weekly. She’s also the host of My Year in Sound, a podcast that takes guests back in time to explore music moments from their chosen year.

With a degree in Music Journalism, Tina is Editor for Listen Zine with KEF’s creative team, and her writing appears in prominent publications including Downbeat, The Guardian, The Telegraph and Monocle. As an international DJ, she has performed at major festivals such as North Sea Jazz, Glastonbury, Lost Village, and Wilderness, while her bi-annual Love Is Everywhere parties have attracted a dedicated fan base in jazz and club culture.

Tina’s curatorial expertise has been instrumental in championing UK jazz, booking artists like Sons of Kemet and Nubya Garcia early in their careers. Her CHICAGOxLONDON project, co-curated with International Anthem, created lasting connections between UK and Chicago jazz artists. Tina also presented the BBC One documentary Jazz UK: Spitting Fire.
